Mobile Home Donations Title & Registration Information
The Vehicle Donation Processing Center accepts mobile home donations and recreational vehicle donations in addition to car donations.
A recreational vehicle or recreational trailer is registered with the state as a vehicle. The donation process is the same as a car donation or truck donation, except that we reserve the right to decline to accept RVs that, in our estimation, will cost more to transport and process than the unit can be sold for at auction.
A mobile home is registered with the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Although mobile homes start out with wheels, these have often been removed or the home has been raised onto blocks. Mobile homes can be located in a "Mobile Home Park" or they may be on private property. This is different from car donation rules, which can be found here.
The process for a mobile home donation is different than a car donation or truck donation for car donation.
Each mobile home donation must be reviewed for potential value. It may be necessary for us to have the vehicle inspected by a local vendor before we can move forward with the next step of the of the mobile home donation process.
